Assalamu Alaikum Dear Parents,
We thank you for your interest in this year’s Qiraath competition held by the Melbourne Quran Academy. May Allah (SWT) reward you abundantly for the means and encouragement you have provided for your children to attend this event.
Alhamdulillah since its inception, the annual Qirath competition has attracted an immense level of interest from the community and the level of attendance has grown significantly. This year will be the largest event by far.
This year the structure will be as follows :
1) Competition- 3rd of September 2016- refreshments and snacks to be provided
2) Awards night- 17th September 2016 – Dinner for competition participants and their families
Alhamdulillah we have been able to run this event in previous years due to a number of very generous donors. As we have a large number of students and families attending this event this year, we would be greatly humbled if you choose to donate an amount of your choice to this event.
The funds collated for this event are directly spent on:
-Awards and prizes for participants
-Meals, refreshments and snacks for the events.
