Competition Categories and Judges

There will be three categories of competition including:

Qiraath- Participants are required to read selected passages from the Quran (Quran will be permitted on stage with them). Please see below for a list of Surahs specified according to age group.

Hifdh- Participants are required to memorise selected passages from the Quran and read these from memory on stage (Quran will not be permitted on stage with them) . Please see below for a list of Surahs specified according to age group.

Public speaking – Participants will be required to prepare a speech based on the specified category for their selected age group. Please note, participants can only choose from the topics that have been selected for their age group.
